St. Anne's The School of Excellence proudly celebrated Telugu Divas on 29th August 2024, commemorating the birthday of Gidugu Venkata Ramamoorty, a renowned Telugu linguist. The highlight of the event was a mesmerizing dance performance by our students, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Telugu traditions. Students also recited soulful poems and geyalu (Telugu folk songs) that echoed the beauty of the Telugu language and its rich literary heritage. Telugu Divas is a celebration of the Telugu language and its significance in our culture, promoting the language, literature, and traditions of Telugu-speaking people. The event fostered a sense of pride and appreciation for the Telugu language and culture among students and staff, and served as a reminder to promote and preserve our Telugu language and traditions for future generations.
